Dr. Kelly specializes in the field of post-trauma rehab of injured workers and sits on the advisory council for workers' compensation with the State of Wisconsin.
With over three decades of experience, our skilled team of medical professionals understands the unique challenges injured workers face. We have honed our expertise to provide high-quality, tailored solutions for everyone who walks through our door.
We are deeply rooted in the Milwaukee working-class community and have been dedicated to serving its members for over a decade. Our clinic is committed to improving the health and well-being of Milwaukee’s injured workers so our entire community can thrive.
No two work injuries are the same, which is why we believe in a personalized approach to injury treatment. Our team will thoroughly document all injuries and create a customized treatment plan addressing each patient's needs and goals.
If you have a patient you are treating and their case is denied, and you are no longer allowed or able to continue the care at your facility, refer the patient to us; we will gladly accept the patient and take over care. Simply fax over a referral with the patient's name, date of injury, insurance information if you have it with the claim number and these words, “Evaluate and Treat Patient.” From there, we will handle the patient’s care. If you are not able to do that, simply give the patient our contact information and refer them over.
Dr. Kelly Von-Schilling Worth, clinic director of Spine and Joint Institute of Milwaukee, graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1987 and pursued post-graduate studies, achieving double board certifications in Neurology and Internal Disorders. As one of the world's first Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologists and Internists, he has nearly four decades of experience dedicated to serving injured individuals, particularly in workers' compensation cases. Dr. Kelly is committed to providing patients across Wisconsin with the highest standard of care while helping build their strongest workers’ compensation case.
Our clinic uses proven treatment methods and cutting-edge imaging equipment to assess patients’ conditions accurately and secure their return to work. This includes:
Physical Therapy - Our physical therapy department has over $200,000 worth of state-of-the-art equipment. Your patient will get the very best care needed.
Occupational Therapy - Our licensed and certified team will conform the therapy around your patient's occupation and give them therapeutic service to best help them heal.
Rehabilitation - Professional rehabilitative machines for strengthening.
Chiropractic Care - Periodically, CMT procedures are necessary for the patient's spine. Dr. Kelly has over 35 years of experience and will determine the patient’s needs from an x-ray.
Durable Medical Equipment - DME equipment allows the patient to eventually take over care. We want the patient to be comfortable in their own home, utilizing our DME on off days they are not receiving care in our facility. The equipment allows them to reduce pain and swelling that often comes with the injury.
Imaging Services - At Spine and Joint Institute of Milwaukee, we use digital x-ray systems for imaging on your patients when needed. Our Cineradiography machine, (the only one in Wisconsin) allows us to see damaged ligaments in the spine, wrist, or any joint, when the bones translate over one another. This is a service we provide for all patients who are injured and need their injuries documented accurately. This is something that unfortunately MRI's do not illustrate.
Occupational Medicine - Our medical team is trained with years of experience working with injured workers. They tailor the treatment around the injury and take into consideration all aspects of the injured person’s job description.
Full Medical Services - From office visits and prescription meds to surgery, our medical team is there for your patient.
Thank you for trusting Spine and Joint Institute of Milwaukee with your referrals. Dr. Kelly and our Spine and Joint Institute of Milwaukee team are ready to work together to ensure your patient receives the comprehensive medical treatment they need and deserve.
