At Spine and Joint Institute of Milwaukee, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients. Our clinic specializes in treating injured workers, offering comprehensive services to help them regain strength and mobility and ensure a safe return to work while buidling full documentation for their workers’ compensation claim.
For your convenience, here is a complete list of all payment types we accept and do not accept for our services.
In the event that you must pay out-of-pocket due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us to make payment arrangements.
We always do our best to ensure that your treatment is completely covered by workers’ compensation benefits through your employer’s insurance. Our staff is well-versed in workers’ compensation coverage and will facilitate your claims process by properly documenting your injury and treatment so that treatment will be approved.
Occasionally, an employer has no coverage either by choice, or their policy has lapsed. This is against the law. In these circumstances, they are still responsible for paying for all your benefits. Under the Workers’ Compensation Act of Wisconsin, by law they are required to carry Workers’ Compensation Insurance. In circumstances where Workers’ Compensation Insurance is not carried, your benefits are paid through the State under the "Uninsured Benefits Fund." This fund is specifically designated for payment of benefits under Workers’ Compensation. Once the claim has completed its course, the State of Wisconsin will bill your employer the entire amount paid out. Your employer will have to pay or face heavy sanctions, along with fines for not carrying Workers’ Compensation Insurance.
At Spine and Joint Institute of Milwaukee, we know and understand the law. We have extensive experience and know how to get claims filed on your behalf and ensure that your employer is held responsible for ALL medical bills resulting from your injury.
